How can I get the systray notification to show for all email?

A

Ashby

I have recently had a Office 2003 forced upon me at work and so far only have
one quarrel with it.

I have a number of rules set up to distribute my emails to various folders
when they come in. The problem I'm having is that the little envelope only
appears in the systray for emails that go to the main Inbox, not to any
subfolders.

I've tried creating a rule for all emails, but that only lets me use the
desktop notification for all emails, not the systray envelope.

I've made sure that the appropriate settings are checked in the search
folders bit etc.

Can anyone help? I can tell this is going to infuriate me!

You can create a rule to show the New Item Alert window. This will give you
an overview of all newly received e-mails.
