How can I get visio 2003 pro to communicate with my exchange serv.

In the wizard for Org charts, when i try to get Visio to query exchange for
users it returns with a message "unable to read names from your Exchange
Server directory"
Has anyone come accross this?
Any thoughts on how to resolve?
