How can i give name to the selection

Can u pls tell me how can i give name to a particular selection. which i
can use as a data selection for any required command.

Type the name into the Name Box (the unnamed field to the left of the
Formula Bar), then hit the Enter key. By the way, you can't have spaces in
the name.

 

[Jacob Skaria]

Select the range and type in the name to the name box..(Left to the formula
bar)
After that Check the name in Insert|Name|Define
