How can I have custom Row Headers

Is there a way to display custom row headers rather than
the default Arrow???

As I assume you mean "without writing VBA code", I'm not aware of any.
However, if you don't mind doing some programming, you can do just about
anything in a Module. For example, you could hide or show controls on a
Form according to whether a given record is selected, and these controls
could have just about any appearance you wish to give them.
