How can I import mailmessages from an exported Eudora format file

How can I import mail messages from PocoMail from an exported Eudora format
file created by Pocomail. Outlook reads it but says it imports zero messages.

Try importing into Outlook Express. That seems to handle Eudora format
better. Then export from OE to Outlook.

Thanks, Brian but I've tried that and it says no messages found. I created a
..mbx file from Pocomail. Could it be that OE only accepts up to Eudora 3,
which is quite old now (current is 6.2 I think)?

I've imported mboxes from Eudoras higher than version 3 with no trouble.

Try installing Eudora, opening the ex-Pocomail messages in that and THEN
importing into OE.

Just be wary of any attachments - Eudora keeps them in a separate folder
rather than with the message as OE and Outlook do. You may want to save your
Eudora attchments folder rather than delete it.

Just export the messages from OE to OL and import the addresses from OE with
OL Current versions of Outlook don't seem to have the ability to import
from Eudora.

I don't think you will find a better tool than Aid4Mail. It can import your
Eudora mail directly into MS Outlook, including your attachments, embedded
contents, and status information (message unread, read, replied, etc.).
