How can I insert a textbox in a table cell in Word.

I have pasted a picture in a cell in a Word table. I now want to place text
on top of the picture and lock it in the cell as well.

This is part of an html doc and thus does strange things in various browsers.

I can create a textbox and place it on top of the picture but it's anyones
guess where it will be when viewed in a browser--and of course each browser
does something different I thought if I can put a textbox in the same cell,
give it a transparent background and place it "on top" then I would have what
I need.

Help please.

Which version of Word do you have?

Note that you should be working in an HTML editor if you're working on a complex
web page. Word's HTML features are really more for collaboration, round-tripping
pages to the Internet, and "convenience" web pages. But as soon as you want to
do something out of the oridinary, you're usually in big trouble.
