How can I install Office Home ...2007 after reboot?

I have a compaq and I had to reboot the system, Windows XP Home Edition
(2002). I also have disc for Office Home and Student (2007) which I bought
last Spring. When I try to re-install the Office it says " Newer version
of windows required" How can I do this?
