How can i just get the L-Shaped boundary for headers and footers?

I have worked on many machines before that have L-shaped indents in the
corners of the documents signifying where the header and footer will reach
to. I recently upgraded my home computer, and have been unable to find the
feature to turn these L-shaped boundaries on. I have been able to produce a
border with L-shaped boundaries, but an outlined box borders the whole
document...and I really am not looking for that. Any ideas?
