How can I mail merge a batch of labels?

I am trying to mail merge and print approx 700 labels. How do I do this? I am using 2003 word as well as excel, haivng said that I had no problem with the mail merge for the letterhead, just can't figure out the envelopes

When you set up the mail merge in word, choose labels in Step 1 of the
wizard. If you begin the merge using Outlook's Tools, Mail Merge menu, you
can select labels on the merge dialog while you are in Outlook or after you
get into Word, show the Mail Merge task pane (F1, select mail merge from the
menu on the task pane title bar) and move back to step 1.
