How can i make a macro to automatically save and shutdown Excel a.

Is it possible to write a macro that will automatically save and shutdown an
application (Excel) after 5 mins of no keyboard activity, As i have an excel
d/base that is shared by multiple people and is very frustrating when someone
doesnt shut it down and you want to edit it, trying to find out who has it
open etc.

You could do this, but have you considered moving the application to an
Access database? Access can handle multi-users on the same data. Excel
not made for mult-user use nor is it optimially used as a database manager.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
