How can I make Outlook stay resident in memory?

Using Outlook 2000, how do I keep Outlook resident (in memory) upon exiting
the program so that the mail service (mapisp32.exe) continues to run?
Outlook works this way on one of my PCs, but not the other. I use ActiveSync
for syncrhonizing the Pocket PC, and Symantec's Norton Antivirus for my
email scanner. I can't think of any other applications that I use that may
affect the configuration of Outlook.

As long as you keep your PDA cradled, it should continue to run. Pull the
PDA out of the cradle, and it will go away.
