How can I modify icon added to quick access toolbar?

I have added a macro to Word 2007. I added it to the quick access toolbar.
The icon word uses is generic. I'd like to change it as I did with previous
versions of Word, but I can't seem to find out how.

If you mean edit the icon the way it could be done pixel by pixel in
previous versions, unfortunately, it cannot be done in 2007.

Doug, is there any way to differentiate between one macro and another even if
I can't do "pixel twiddling"?

In the Customize dialog (where you added the macro to the QAT), select
the name of the macro in the right-hand list and click the Modify
button. You can only use the icons that are in the popup -- there
doesn't seem to be any way to add to the offered ones or edit any
image -- but at least there are about twice as many as in the
corresponding group in previous versions.

All that I have been able to do is put them at different ends of the QAT
and/or rely in the name that will appear when the mouse cursor hovers over
the button.

Thanks, Jay and Doug. I'll live with picking them from the ones offered in
the popup, although this is a case where microsoft has taken away a feature
that was important to me.
