How can i move a sterotype attached to a UML element in visio?

I am trying to build a UML class diagram, and I have several associations
with stereotypes going around the place. The sterotypes are placed at the
centre of the shape. So if my association runs around the edge of the
document, the sterotype is placed slap bang in the middle, no where near the
line. Is there any way it can be moved?
