Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: intel

I am trying to create more vertical room on my screen for lines of text - so I want to shift all toolbars that are at the top of my word screen to one side or the other. Can someone please tell me how to do this?
Many Thanks!

No... Sorry. The basic toolbar cannot be moved in this version.

Cheers

Alternative--you can turn off the Standard toolbar, move the commands
you need to another toolbar, and set that toolbar to vertical. The other
toolbars (except Standard) can be undocked, and then set to vertical.
Some basic info:

Also, clicking the jellybean in the upper right corner will collapse the
toolbar space, if that helps.
