How can I not have a white border when printing from Publisher?

I have a Hewlett Packard 3210 which states supporting borderless printing.
I have tried various ways of trying to print my Publisher 2003 work onto
10x15 photo paper using settings for both 10x15cm, and 4"x6".
I have spoken to HP Chat who reckons it is a publisher issue.

When I print I get an uneven white border around 2 sides of the paper.

Can anyone help me as to the solution? I have read a couple of threads
about checking printable area in WordPad...I have done this and can get the
margins to -0-.

Many thanks in anticipation

This is a known issue with HP drivers. It is not a Publisher issue - to
paraphrase Dr Carter from ER... "Everything's a Publisher issue - that's
just something printer manufacturer tech support says". The workaround
is to export as an image and print that using photo software.

Thanks for that - i thought it might be something like that. I've tried to
save the work from Publisher as an image but the quality seems to be really
low even if i set it to the highest DPI.

If there is another way, i'll try to find it, or please let me know.

Many thanks for your time.

I read if you select borderless paper in the print setup, Publisher will print
borderless. Have you tried that? Not all borderless printers are created equal.
I have a HP borderless printer, I have many times saved a publication as a
picture and used the HP software to print. I have found the resolution is good.

Make sure not to save as JPEG (this reduces quality) or GIF (this limits
the number of usable colours) - I recommend PNG, personally - use 300dpi
(commercial print) - people say there's no difference when printing on a
desktop printer between 150dpi and 300dpi source material, but I can
normally see the difference.
