How can I prevent image copying on my .htm page?

C

I would like to stop the unauthorised copying of photos on my website. How
can I do this in Publisher?

But on some websites it's not possible to right-click and copy. I'd like to
do the same, but if you say that I can't do this with Publisher, then I
suppose there's nothing I can do :-(

Thanks for answering.

no right click doesn't stop anyone from copying your images.

images are automatically downloaded to the viewers machine so you can see
the images in your web...(take a peek in your temp internet file cache with
an image viewer someday)

if you can see it...you can get it.

Believe me, not being able to right click an image is nothing to someone who
wants it.

it's done with java script, but there are applications, especially
command line tools for linux that can grab a whole site, or people can
disable java in the browser

If you're smart, you have Java disabled from the get-go. Disable the right
click all you want - I can still copy anything I see on the web.

you don't need anything fancy to "borrow" an image, and disable right click
does nothing to stop image theft...all it does is piss people off that want
to quickly bookmark your site etc...
