How can I print Help and How-to Word 2003 formatting documents?

Is the text visible in Print Preview (assuming that we are talking about the
text in a Word document)?

No, only the border is visible.

Seems as if the text has been formatted as hidden. Check this in Format |
Font, Font tab. If it is selected, clear the attribute.

Apologies, I may have misled you, I have been trying to print from the
website and, therefore, there is no format, font, font tab to deselect.

Then, it seems, the error is with that particular web page. Have you tried
copying and pasting the contents into a Word document, for example?

Can you give us a link to the specific page that doesn't print? Some Web
pages have a print icon on the page that links to a printable version of the
page.

Print Preview for me shows the outside frames but not the content of the
inner frame (3 pages' worth, of which page 2 is just a line). Obviously not
intended to be printed out. There is a link to a Quick Reference Card that
is also unprintable, which rather defeats the purpose. I'll report this.

Hi Suzanne,

FWIW, it's apparently a setting/page constructuction that affects only certain browsers. For example, the page and the Quick
reference card are printable from FireFox (although the layout is a bit 'off') but not from Internet Explorer v6 or IE7. <g>.
Apparently the once upon a time option in IE of being able to select to print all frames vs 'as laid out on screen' has gone away.

As a workaround to print the content from IE for
http://office.microsoft.com/training/trainin.aspx?AssetID=RC011039261033

In the Quick Reference card, if you use File=>Print Preview note what the last item in the header is ('Training') and the first
thing is in the footer (copyright notice).
Close Print preview and use the mouse to select the content between those two items then again use File=>Print Preview and toggle
from 'as laid out on screen' to 'As selected on screen'

On the course material page, select starting with 'Overview' and end before the 'Next' choice at the bottom of the page.

I'm getting "This Web page is unavailable," so I guess they're working on it
(after its being reported to the Office Online staff).
