How can I put reminders in order?

I get a reminder box with all the correct reminders in it but it comes up in
what appears to be a random order. Is there a way to reorder the reminders so
that they are in date and time order? I have tried to click on the Due In
heading but it does nothing.

I would also like to be able to do a sort on the oldest. For example first
the oldest overdue etc...
