Hi Dale,
Depending on the version of MS Works used to create
the file you may be able to open the .XLR spreadsheet
file in MS Excel but the Works Data Base file isn't
usable outside of MS Works except as a Mailmerge source
file in Word and then only if the Works Database doesn't
have calculated fields.
Ask the User to save the database in another format
such as dBase III or Comma Delimited and those will open
in MS Excel.

I have an email file attachment with t/he extension .wdb and another .xlr. I
can open these files with Word. Any ideas <<
