How can I reduce the amount of memory for a Visio document

If I already have a drawing I'd like to use many times in other Microsoft
products, how can I save it using less memory. I don't plan on changing it.

one technique is to go into the document stencil and take out objects that
aren't being used.

Whenever I use a Visio diagram in another document (Word or PowerPoint), I
use Paste Special to convert the drawing to an Enhanced Metafile. The image
quality is perfect and the footprint is much smaller. If I need to make a
change, I go back to my original Visio diagram.
