How can I remove a deleted item from my Outlook Inbox view?

Hello,

I too am unable to remove a deleted item from the "view" of my Outlook
Inbox, but unlike the other users who have written in with this problem, I do
not retrieve my email from an IMAP server, but a POP3 server. Does anyone
have any suggestions on how to fix this?

In what folder is the item stored?
What error message do you get when you try to delete it?
