How can I remove the MS supplied games (e.g. solitaire)?

The games installed with MS Windows, such as minesweeper, keep returning. I
think as a result of an MS tool which ensure the core install is not
compromised.
How can I permanently remove these games from my computer?

Via Add/Remove dialogue, win components
PS They are not part of the core installation
