I'm creating a policy & procedure manual and simply want to repeat the same
template on each page. How can I set this up?
The term "template" in Word refers to a separate file, with a .dot extension,
that supplies styles and other items to a document. That's not what you want.
If you have a standard set of headings to be filled in on each page, set that up
once. If each set is to start a new page, right-click the first heading and
choose Paragraph, go to the Line & Page Breaks tab of the dialog, and check the
"Page break before" option. Now select the whole set, and press Alt+F3 to bring
up a dialog for naming it as an AutoText entry (or as a Building Block in Word
2007).
To insert a fresh copy on a new page, type the name you assigned to the AutoText
entry and press F3.
