How can I resequence resources? Sorting is for the current view o

I'd like to resequence my resources so that all available drop-down lists
have them sorted alphabetically.

I can sort the resource sheet. However, resource assignment pull-down lists
have them ordered by sequence id (correct name? ...order added to the
resource table).

I'm currently using MS Project 2000.

Hello JSP,

You're almost there. Sort the Resource sheet (Project > Sort > Sort By)
and select the option "Permanently renumber resources". This will
change the resource's ID number. The assignment drop-down in the Task
Form and Task Information form display the resources in ID order.
