how can i retreeve my emails? basket say empty but show 80in

for a few weeks now i have been unable to get my emails from hotmail.co.uk it
shows 80 messages in my box but show empty basket, I have been asking windows
for weeks and no one has come back to me, even my 2 sons have tried to get it
turned around but nothing..I am a novice at this email force so could someone
help me as the people that should be able to help does'nt want to help.

Hello Joy,

You've posted your question to a newsgroup for Microsoft Project, a
project management scheduling product, so it's unlikely you're going
to get much assistance here on hotmail.

That being said, I know nothing specifically about hotmail, but is
it possible that you've applied some sort of filter to your inbox?
Have you tried getting help from within hotmail? In a quick search
I found the following page:

http://www.hotmail.msn.com/cgi-bin/dasp/ua_info.asp

Is it possible that you've exceeded the size limit in your inbox?

Also, as a suggestion - when posting to a newsgroup you'd be wise to
mask your email address -- it's likely you're going to be spammed
when showing your email address clearly as you do in your message.
I've deleted your email from this message, but in the future, use a
jumbled version of your email.
