how can I retrieve product key code if lost and computer crashed

G

gurwell

I have microsoft office and home 2007. Our computer crashed and went back to
factory settings. Needless to say, I can't find the box it came in and don't
have the product code key.

Is there anyway to find or retrieve the code?

No, you will have to contact Microsoft.

But since the installation no longer exists and the box / cd is lost there
will be no information to give

That's why I copied the part about how to call them. They may have to buy a
new copy but it's worth the cost of a toll-free call to find out one way or
the other, isn't it?
