Look here:

As Sandy says but as an aside:
Do you NEED to save to this format? Very few folk use 95 now and this is
what is causing the problem. You will also get huge files.
If you are just aiming at 97 and on users a normal ppt file will be fine.

Yep... my daughter's teacher wants her ppt project, but he's got an older
version and wants her to do the aforementioned save. I'll try Sandy's
