In Business Contact Manager 2007, The Comments Field does not allow me to
save tables, images, images, etc. like it used to in older versions of
Outlook. This used to be one of the most user-friendly attributes of using
Outlook as a Contact Manager. Now it seems nearly impossible to copy/paste
text from a website without being required to delete every little horizontal
line, or table, or linked-image. Does anyone know how to make this more
user-friendly?

Chris:

When you paste, look at the bottom of the item you pasted and there will be
a smart tag. Click on that and choose to Keep Source Formatting and it
should look OK.

Lon

Lon,

I never thanked you for your suggestion. The smart tag idea worked, but I
needed to select "Paste as TEXT" or whatever the wording was. Either way, it
has enabled me to continue pasting items from the web into the Details secion
of my contacts.

Now my main concern is, I really need to be able to paste images, tables and
such from the web into the Details section of my contacts. I hope Microsoft
comes up with a solution to this.

Thanks for your help Lon !
