How can I save Internet text in a Word Format

I selected text from a web page and saved it as a Word Document, but it would
not behave like a word document. In particular, the lines would not wrap.
but spilled over the edge of the page. I was able to change the font. Is
there anyway to convert text from a web page so that it can be edited,
re-paragraphed, etc. like a normal word document ?
Any help would be much appreciated

Often the best approach is to use Edit | Paste Special | as Unformatted

Use Copy/Paste Special, unformatted text. This assumes the formattin
of the destination document
