how can I save & reload the customization for the menu text labels ?

The Office suite allow to thange the text label of most menu items.
I want to be able to save my own customization for porting it to other
systems, or to reload it later if the system/program have to be
reinstalled.
What must be saved ? (and later reloaded) Some registry entries, or perhaps
some .ini files ?

Which apps and what version of Office are you working in?

My question was about Office 2003 version ... sorry I didn't mention that.
My interest is particulary for a localized version of Office (Romanian),
because a few menu items are either wrong or unhappy translated, but I know
that technically the main code is basically the same, with language files
located in per-language numbered directories.
