How can I see the status bar below in Microsoft WORD?

[MICROSOFT WORD STATUS BAR]

All of a sudden, the status bar the indicates page number, the language and
the zoom, got disappeared. In old WORD files it is still there, but when I
open new ones, it's not there. I tried WORD OPTIONS but I dont find any
anything there about the status bar.
Please, help me!

go to http://www.microsoft.com
click Office
click Office Help and How-to
click Get Answers from Other Office Users
click Word
and the screen shows all those Office groups, they must all be for
Word because I just chose Word.
That's where it goes wrong.
