How can i set a watermark in InfoPath

I'm trying to set a form by scanning one and then placing text boxes and such
for others to fill in the blanks.

I'm not sure what you mean by "watermark" which typically means some identifying mark that is almost invisible to the eye.

I am assuming you mean that you want to take your scanned image, use it as a background image, and then strategically place text boxes in appropriate places on that image.

If this is the case, use your scanned image as a background picture for your view (the View Properties dialog box). And then use layout tables to align your text boxes.

Have you upgraded to Office Service Pack 2? I don't recall whether background images were part of the original release... but they have been at least since SP1.

Once you use a background picture, and not a normal inline picture, that will keep that image from moving.

InfoPath does not allow 2D design -- i.e. you cannot just drag a field wherever you want. You will need to use a layout table to put the fields where they need to go.

Your absolutely right about a background not a watermark. When i insert
picture from file(form we use) then try to drag any text boxes it is line
specific and not really draggable. and moves my picture as if it were text.
I followed the directions at
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/assistance/hp011001431033.aspx but i have
no option for use a background picture.
