how can I set default font color in publisher

I change the font color, save the file and then the color reverts back to
what Publisher 2007 wants it to be. I've just changed from 03 -07 and am not
thrilled at the moment. It's a bigger learning curve, but even with that - no
program should override my saved changes. Any help out there? I even created
a color scheme, applied that and it still changes my color font. :-(

When you created the color scheme did you change the Main? Did you save the
scheme?

I am not experiencing your problem. Is your Publisher 2007 a trial?

No it is not a trial version. I'm seeing it happen in other places as well.
I just got a brand new computer with 2007 on it. In some places the colors
appear to be a different color. I've discovered that while I have made the
font blue, it appears brown, yet it will print blue - very bizarre. If I
change the color to brown, it appears blue, and prints brown.
It is very frustrating - sometimes if I start to select a text, it will
change to the correct color and look right, but when I save it reverts.
Also, I've noticed that at some points, when I have a font in the right
color and increase the size of the font - at a certain size - it then changes
to the wrong color. I'd love some help with this problem! thanks!

Have you looked at the color management profiles in the Control Panel?

Is your printer driver current?

Just because your computer is new doesn't mean the drivers are new. Check to see
if there is an update for your video/graphics card on the manufacturer's web
site.

Thanks Mary, I got on line with dell and it turned out to be a driver
problem. it was very strange, but now solved.
