How can I set up a softball league in Access?

I would like to set up a data base for our city's summer softball leagues. It
would include 6 different leagues that use 3-4 fields 4-5 nights per week.
The number of teams in each league varies. I would like the database to be
able to print a report of games each night, a report for league standings and
be able to easily input results of games (using a form?). Anyone have any
ideas for me?

Tori,
If you're not an intermediate to experienced Access programmer, I
wouldn't attempt it. For that matter, even if you are, it still would be
better to search the web for "canned" applications to do this. Believe me,
compared to the hours it would take to "grow your own", purchasing "ready to
wear" software is a bargain.
Folks often ask, "How can I build a small business accounting system?",
and the general consensus of replies is ... buy QuickBooks, or PeachTree, or
any of the many off the shelf small business accounting systems. Their
cheap, well designed, and have all the extra bells and whistles.
Search the web for "baseball" (or softball) "league" "software".
