how can I set up dual monitors from the desk top

Using Windows XP on the desk top tower can I have dual monitors working at
the same time and how do I configue the set up?

Dual displays are dependent on the computer and display card. If you have a
display card (or built-in graphics) which allow it you just plug in both
monitors, then rightclick on the desktop and choose properties. Go to the
settings tab. Towards the lower right there will be a box to check about
extending the desktop. The place to find out more is in the owner's manual
which should have come with your computer.
