How can I show my Messenger Buddy list in Outlook (As in express)

Outlook Express was integrated with Messenger and I could see my "Buddy" list
and their online status within Express. I can't find a way to do this with
Outlook. Is it possible to make it work the way Express works?

There's no way to make it like OE but you can see the status of contacts in
email items.
