How can I sort a list or table in OneNote?

I read the string on this, don't care about numbered lists just want to sort
one as in bread
jam
tea
Must be do-able, can't think of any reason for tables if at the minimum they
can't be sorted

Can't be done in OneNote. Though it could be done programatically.

One could cut & paste a table into Word and then sort it, before cut & paste
to put it back.

They're in OneNote 2007 as a quick-and-dirty method for structuring your
notes for rapid notetaking. Nothing more.

They were a pleasant leap forward from the nothing that was available in
OneNote 2003.
