How can I sort a Table in excel which refence other cells with values

I am trying to sort a section of a worksheet which
contains the values of other cells.
i.e Cell C3 contains the value of Cell A1 (=A1)
Cell C4 contains the value of Cell A2 (=A2)

I am trying to sort (Descending on the Actual value that
shows in the cells
i.e If Cell A1 is a value of 1 and Cell A2 is a value of 2
I would expect Cell C4 to be sorted ahead of C1

Does anybody have any ideas?
