How can I sort individual sections numerically?

I have a rather large document that has sections added in random order. Each
section is separated by a Continuous Section and Page Break, with the section
number in the Header. I need to put the individual sections into numerical
order. Can I do that?

If the numbered headings have a Heading 1 style applied, you can view just
the Heading 1 level in Outline view and sort there. The text under each
heading will go with it. See
