How can I speed up a mail merge in word 2003

data at Mail Solutions, LLC

When printing merged docs in word 2003 and it contains any graphics it only
merges at 500 records an hour. What can I do to speed the process? More
memory? Faster processer? Any sugguestions? Thanks
