I've set up a Shared Notebook on a network location in our local network.
Currently I'm the only one using the Notebook, but later in time someone else
will also use it. That's why I set up a Shared Notebook.
My problem is that quite regularly sections go missing.
I work with OneNote and then leave my computer alone for an hour. After I
come back a section or two of the Notebook which were there before are gone
from the notebook. I did not delete them by mistake and it happened several
times, not just once or twice.
Fortunately these sections are not totally gone. They are in the network
location in which I saved the notebook. The name of the file is always the
name of section in the notebook + .one~RF+somerandomnumbers.TMP
e.g. ideas.one~RF1f41397.TMP or contacts.one~RFf20a47.TMP
I can include them again in the original Notebook with File > Open >
Section, but I don't want to do this all the time.
Is there a way to stop OneNote from excluding my sections?
I'm using Onenote 2007 (12.0.6316.5000) SPO MSO (12.0.6320.5000) and Windows
XP.
Thank you!
