How can I stop Outlook changing the font colour in replied to emai

I'm using Word as my email editor in Outlook 2000 and it has the annoying
habit of changing the font colour in replied to emails.
This is a problem for me as some of my colleagues use a black background for
their Windows environment and the first reply colour is very dark blue.
I need it to ALWAYS use 'automatic' so that the font colour will come out
properly.

HOW can I turn this feature off? Some MS help has pointed me towards the
track changes feature but that's not helped.

Thanks,

Andy

this email!)

Hello!

I think....

Tools > Options > Mail Format Tab> Fonts button (located in the middle of
the dialogue box)

Should be able to change font and colour as you wish.

That was my first thought - but the font colour is already set to Automatic.
If I set it to a fixed colour, then it's not going to be suitable for people
with white or black backgrounds.

(thanks though!)
