How can i stop seeing embedded objects?

I keep seeing embedded objects and text and I cannt revert to original
display.
I dont want to see it, I know how to change them, but I would like not to
have to convert them.

Please help!!

You only need to press Alt+F9 to toggle field codes so that you see field
results instead of field codes.

Note that Alt+F9 turns on and of the “Field codes†option in Tools > Options

View tab. You can also toggle the field codes by right-clicking in any

field and selecting “Toggle Field Codes†from the pop-up menu.
