I work as a consultant. I have Outlook with my Employer. I work for many
clients some of whom also provide me with an Outlook account within their
organisation. I would like to keep the calendars across these accounts
synchronized. I could forward all messages to my account within my Employers
organisation so that I could have one calendar up to date. However this
doesn't help the clients as they can not see when I am not available when
they want to schedule meetings. Ideally there would be some mechanism of
specifiyng my Employer calendar as the master which would contain the details
of each appointment and entry. The Client Calendars would only contain
entries generated from their system in detail; other entries replicated from
the master would just show as time blocked out. I am doing this manually at
the moment and it takes some considerable time to keep everything up to date.
I have tried using rules to automatically forward calendar entries but this
doesn't work well. Most times the forward does not send an entry that can be
added to Outlook.
