How can I tell if Service Packs 1&2 are on my computer?

I have an HPT760 PC and am running Windows XP but do not know if Service
Packs 1 and 2 are on my computer, which tells me that my office updates are
up to date but when I look for updates already installed it says no updates
installed!?! I thought it would give me a list of updates but it doesn't.
Please can anyone advise me?

I assume you're talking about Office XP, since it's the only version with a
service pack 1 and 2 (Office 2000 had SR1 and SP2 and Office 2003 only has
SP1). You can go to any Office product's Help menu and click on the "About
Microsoft..." option. The latest service pack you have should appear after
the product version info, at the very end. It should look somehting like:

Microsoft Office Outlook 2002 (10.xxxx.xxxx) SPx

with the "x" characters depending on your SP level.

Hope this helps.
