How can I tell which programs I have installed on my computer and which
version. As in word? powerpoint? I don't know if I have power point 2000 or
what.

This newsgroup is for Microsoft Project - next time choose a Word or
PowerPoint newsgroup. Meanwhile, I believe if you open the Help menu, there
should be an About selection which gives the detail you want.
