how can I turn off the office toolbar on the right side?

When I get to the right side to move the slider up and down, I can't see it
behind the office toolbar that has gotten turned on. I want to eliminate
that toolbar.

Right side of what? Word? Excel? Something else?

What Office toolbar? What does it look like? What tools are on it? You're
not talking about the Office Shortcut Bar, are you? Here are some pictures

What version of Office are you using? What version of Windows?

Does the toolbar have an X in the corner? Click that to turn off the
toolbar. Or try right-clicking the end of the toolbar and see if you get an
option to close or move it.
