How can I uninstall MS Project Trial Version?

I downloaded and tried to install MS Project trial version, but it hung and I
aborted install. Now when I try to rerun install I get message, I must first
unintall previous Trial version. But when I look in Control Panel, Add/remove
programs, MS Project does NOT appear.

I've tried removing and reinstalling complete MS Office. But still get
message,must first remove ms project trial version.

I am running WinXP on a NEC Versalite Tablet PC. I have WinXP SP2, with
Office XP for Tablet PC.

Probably best to also ask in a newsgroup on XP as they have more
experience with installing/deinstalling software). People here are
mainly users of Project and it's a one-time (or certainly infrequent)
expereince to do this sort of thing.

As you discovered, doing anything with Office won't work as that really
has nothing to do with Project from a configuration respect.

Also, try doing a system restore from right before you installed the
Trial software. They may fix the registry (which is where I suspect the
problem is) with old/incomplete information.
