How can I uninstall previous versions of SP1?

I have ver. 6353 installed and I cannot update to the latest ver. How can I
do this without re-installing Office from scratch?

Hi, Craig,

It's not really clear what you're wanting to do. SP-1 is SP-1. so there
should be no need to re-install the service pack.

Are you experiencing some problem that makes you think you need a different
version of SP-1, or are you just trying to keep your system up to date?

What version of Office are you running? Are you using the Office Update
site to help detect what updates your system needs?

Hi Susan,
Thanks for your reply. The version of SP-1 I am running is a pre-release
version (see version number below). The problem I am running into is that
SP-1 keeps coming up on Office Update to install when I already have it
installed. I have the update downloaded, but get an error on install:
Unsuccessful Installation. I have gone through all of the "advanced" install
steps as described in the installation troubleshooter to no success.
I am just keeping my system up to date.
I am using Office 2003.

Hi, Craig,

Just so I'm clear, you have a pre-release Service Pack? Were you beta
testing the Service Packs? Or is it a pre-release version of Office?

Unfortunately, there's no way to remove Service Packs. This article may
help you resolve the issue, though.

You cannot remove Service Pack 1 for Office 2003 products:

Yes, testing on the SP. I figured I'd have to reinstall, I was just hoping
against hope...

Thanks for your assistance.
