How can I unlock office 2003?

[Microsoft Office Question]

I was locked and got into limited operation mode in Microsoft office where I
was not able to type or modify anything in Microsoft office, I tried the
office assistant and it said that I should activate the product via help
menu. When I try to go to activate office from the help pull down menu
nothing show up. Supposingly I should get to the activation wizard after
going there, but nothing happened. Can anyone help?

This is a bit confusing... not only are you posting in the wrong
newsgroup (there is a general Office newsgroup), but Microsoft Office
is not a program and you can't type or modify anything "in Microsoft
office". It's a suite of programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook,
etc. etc.

Please scroll down the list of subjects on the left side of the
webpage (assuming you're using the interface at
http://support.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.aspx)
and find Office.
